When Your Child Is Sick, We’re Here to Help Quickly and Compassionately
We understand how stressful it is when your child isn’t feeling well. That’s why we offer same day sick visits-so your child can get the care they need without delay, and you can have peace of mind knowing they’re on the path to feeling better.
We keep our schedule flexible to accommodate urgent needs. Please contact us before heading to an Urgent Care or Emergency Room in many cases, we can see your child the same day right in our office.

Sick Child Visits: What You Need to Know
-When can I schedule a sick visit?
Sick visits are available any time our office is open (by appointment). Just give us a call. Our staff will ask a few quick questions to determine the urgency and guide you in the next steps.
– What happens during a sick visit?
Our providers will review your child’s symptoms, perform a physical exam, and may recommend additional tests to make an accurate diagnosis and begin treatment right away.
-What symptoms or conditions can be treated during a sick visit?
We evaluate and treat a wide range of concerns, including:
• Cold, flu, and other respiratory infections
• Fever
• Cough, sore throat, or strep throat
• Earaches and headaches
• Vomiting and/or diarrhea
• Allergic reactions and rashes
• Eye infections or discharge
• Abdominal pain
• Asthma flare-ups
• Minor injuries (such as cuts or scrapes)
-When should I call immediately?
Some symptoms may need urgent care. Call our office right away if your child has:
• A fever of 100.4°F or higher (under 12 months old)
• Fever lasts more than 3 days
• Fever of 102°F or higher with other symptoms (in children older than 1)
• Persistent or worsening symptoms
• Severe pain, rash, vomiting, headache, or stiff neck
